The Warren

Easebourne

A kitchen is the beating heart of a home and my clients wanted a centrepiece that was both beautiful and functional. I like to think we pulled it off. Traditional frame and panel doors give the design a timeless feel while the bold blue brings a modern twist. The finish took a lot of getting right as the client wanted the beautiful grain of the solid oak used - throughout the doors and tongue and groove panelling - to really pop. After a lot of trial and error, I found a wire brush and a lot of elbow grease got the perfect results. Oak veneer cabinetry and hand cut dovetail draws completed the look.
